It has been a weekend of "big boy" things! While we were in South Carolina visiting family, Braddock got to sleep in a big boy bed, and to my surprise (and delight) he actually stayed in it (and LOVED it)!! So, after getting back home, the crib had to go. He was so excited about the "big boy" bed, that the excitement overflowed into wanting a "big boy" swing (I was glad about this because then the 'sharing' of the red, toddler swing could be a bit easier :)...so we went to Lowe's last night and picked up the "big boy" swing, and also a few other items that we needed, which Braddock dubbed the "big boy board" (a fence post to replace a broken one), and "big boy keys" (extra keys for the house). I got the swing put up this morning and the boys seemed to really enjoy themselves. Abram was tickled that he was swinging next to his brother and did his usual "grunt until brother looks at me" and then giggle (then Braddock starts laughing and smiling back at him...MELTS my heart), and Braddock was thrilled that another "big boy" scenario came to fruition!
