Back again...

I officially stink at blogging! It looks my posts have been about once or maybe twice a year...at best. It's hard to know where to begin since so much has happened in the last year...
We are still in Shreveport/Bossier for now, but we've been here for almost 3 years so it looks like the next move may be coming sooner than later. Michael is still flying, and I've been staying at home with Braddock. Well, Braddock is now 16 months old, and seems to be exponentially growing right before our eyes. He is walking, running, signing (his favorite lately has been "more"), and talking as hard as he can. His new favorite thing to say is "UH-ohhhhh" but he also loves BO (hippo) BAH (ball), DOH (dog), OHM (home), MAMA, DADA, and MUM-MUM (milk), among other things. He also loves singing...he'll walk around with his pointer finger bouncing ("This Little Light of Mine"), and will then "hide it under a bushel" with his other hand, pull his finger back out, and then laugh and laugh. He also love "Twinkle Twinkle" (he opens and closes his hands for the stars), and of course "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," pointing to the body parts that he knows throughout the song. There's really never a dull moment!!

We also have a second little boy on the way. His name is Abram Michael; his due date is Jan. 27th, but we are just hoping to make it past Christmas! They have sent us to see a perinatal specialist to try to see what we can do to prevent preterm labor...and after lots of discussion, research, and prayer we have decided to go ahead with the hormone injections. They start Monday morning, and I'll go in every Monday until 37 weeks. We are extremely hopeful that this will allow Abram a safer entry into this world, and a healthier beginning. We are so very excited to meet this little guy, and also a bit anxious about the adjustments to come...hopefully we are preparing Braddock as well as we can for the arrival of a baby, and for his special new role as a big brother!
Lots of exciting things to come...I'm going to try to be better about keeping up with our blog!!
